SHARKS

For most people, the word ‘shark’ instils a sense of fear and terror. For me though, I get a sense of excitement and a feeling of hope. Since 1970, oceanic shark numbers have declined by over 70% mostly due to fisheries. Although I have seen more shark species dead in fish markets, I have had the privilege to dive and swim with a good number of shark species around the world.
