ABOUT ME
What lies beneath the waves is often out of sight, out of mind for most people. That can be said for both the incredible beauty of the underwater world, but also the human threats the oceans and their inhabitants face.
Through my research, conservation work, and media productions I hope to change this narrative and connect people around the world to the oceans.
Growing up as a ‘third-culture-kid’ around the world, I had the privilege to be introduced to diving and the underwater world at a young age. Scuba diving has taken me around the world working as a dive instructor, marine biologist, conservationist and cameraman.
I’ve had the opportunity to research and document some of the most incredible underwater sights from mass aggregations of manta rays in the Maldives to sperm whales in Dominica.
Along the way, I am constantly reminded of the dire straights the oceans are in. Compounding human threats are destroying ecosystems and causing marine biodiversity to collapse. Being on the front line to witness the demise of the oceans has lit a fire under me to do what I can through my research and media to protect and conserve what remaining beauty the oceans still hold.
